New Project: OXO-LOHC
In the research project “OXO-LOHC: Autotherme und ultratiefe Wasserstoff-Freisetzung aus LOHC-Systemen”, two innovative approaches are being investigated to significantly increase the efficiency of hydrogen release from liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) systems. This project is led by the Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nürnberg for Renewable Energy (HI-ERN) and funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy (StMWi).
The Chair of Automatic Control at FAU is contributing to this project by developing control concepts and strategies. These are crucial for the automated operation of demonstrators and systems based on the two novel approaches to hydrogen release.
